  1. CALL FOR VENDORS and Make-and-Take Activity Leaders:
The Flint Earth Day Celebration is hosted at UM-Flint, and is a collaborative effort of Mott Community College, University of Michigan-Flint, and other community organizations.

At this year’s celebration, we would like to include a “Green Craft Show” featuring make-and-take activities and local artisans who make and sell recycled/reused art and hand crafted items made from all natural materials.

We are looking for vendors and those who lead make-and-take workshops. Since the Green Craft Show portion of the event is new to us this year, we are starting small! SPACE IS LIMITED! Tables are FREE and will be provided - there is no cost to vendors or workshop leaders (aside from materials). In the past, the Earth Day event has generated upwards of 750 visitors.

    Vendors:
Interested vendors will be limited to those artisans who use all natural materials OR recycled materials in their artwork or handmade items.
    Make-and-Take Workshops:
Those interested in leading make-and-take workshops will need to bring their own materials or let us know immediately if they wish for us to help them collect any recyclable items for the event. They must submit a photo of their finished project along with a list of materials used and an estimated amount of time it takes to make the project.

At this point we are gathering information from interested parties. Once we know there is enough interest, more information and applications will be disseminated.

    Thank you!
