Flint Handmade encourages you to show your love for the Flint Public Library by participating in their new art contest! Here are the details:
"Calling all artists! Show us how you feel about your library. Create an artwork that shows how you use the Flint Public Library, or what it means to you. Entries can be dropped off at the Flint Public Library between June 23rd and June 30th, 2010.
Artworks will be displayed in the library for the month of July. Winners will be announced and prizes will be awarded at a reception on Thursday, July 29th.
Enter in one of three age categories:
Children - up to age 11, Young Adults - ages 12 - 17 and Adults - ages 18+. Judged and People's Choice prizes will be given for each age group. Children will be provided with a coloring sheet. All others may use whatever material or medium they choose. Winning entries will be photographed and featured on the Flint Public Library website: www.fpl.info"
